Arrascaeta says Flamengo focused as Jardim era begins after 3-1 win over Santos

Flamengo beat Santos 3-1 at the Maracanã on Sunday, in the 10th round of the Brasileirão, and Arrascaeta said the squad remain focused as they adapt to Leonardo Jardim's style.

According to Coluna Do Fla, he said every coach has a different way of playing, that the team are improving step by step, and that the collective comes before any individual.

After Filipe Luís left, Jardim took charge and has overseen seven matches, with four wins, two draws and one defeat.

On Wednesday 08, Jardim faces one of his biggest tests since taking over, as Flamengo begin their 2026 Libertadores campaign against Cusco of Peru at more than 3,400 metres altitude.

The Group A fixture kicks off at 21:30, Brasília time.
