In a recent report, Brazilian news outlet RTI Esporte claimed that Arsenal are facing stiff competition for Bournemouth forward Rayan. It is understood that the Gunners would have to rival Manchester United, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain in the race to land the Brazilian attacker this summer.

Rayan’s Impressive Form In English Football

The 19-year-old is having a decent campaign at the English club as he has put in a few impressive displays for them in the final third after joining from Vasco da Gama in January. Rayan has scored two goals and picked up one assist in eight matches for the Cherries this season across all competitions.

The Brazilian talent is currently one of the most gifted young wingers in English football. Therefore, the Gunners would do well to lure him to the Emirates Stadium this summer.

His current contract at the Vitality Stadium will run out in the summer of 2031, which could make it tough for Arsenal to sign him on a cut-price deal later this year.

Should Arsenal Boss Mikel Arteta Snap Rayan Up?

Rayan is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and can make a few driving runs with it out in the wide areas. He has got the vision to create some inviting chances for his teammates to find the back of the net and can shoot the ball with power from long range.

The Brazilian sensation can chip in by scoring and creating a few important goals for his team. However, he is still quite inexperienced at the highest level and would need time to prove his worth at a top club like Arsenal.

We can expect Rayan to bring more quality and depth to Mikel Arteta’s frontline in the long run. He is more than capable of serving as a good, rotational piece in the Premier League club’s squad.

At 19, Rayan has got the potential to be a future star in English football. Therefore, Arsenal would be wise to go all out to snap him up in the summer transfer window. However, Arteta has to give him some time to adjust to life at the London club before he can get the best out of the player.
