Arsenal ask price for Patrick Dorgu | OneFootball

Arsenal has reportedly joined the race for Lecce‘s promising young left-back, Patrick Dorgu.

The Gunners, along with fellow London clubs Chelsea and Tottenham, have reportedly inquired about the 19-year-old Danish international’s availability and potential transfer fee.

Lecce’s technical director, Pantaleo Corvino, has set an initial asking price of €30 million for Dorgu, who has attracted significant interest from clubs across Europe following his impressive performances in Serie A,. He is currently valued at around €12m.

While Napoli has shown interest, their offers have fallen short of Lecce’s valuation. Chelsea, under the management of Enzo Maresca, is also reportedly keen on Dorgu and is expected to make a formal offer soon.

Arsenal and Tottenham have both been informed of Lecce’s asking price, and it remains to be seen whether either club will be willing to meet it.

Patrick Dorgu is a Danish professional football player who plays as a left-back for Italian Serie A club Lecce.

Dorgu was born in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2004 and began his career playing for Husum Boldklub before joining Nordsjælland’s youth academy.

In July 2022, he signed with Lecce at under-19 level, costing the Italians €200k.

Dorgu made his Serie A debut in August 2023.

He has also played for Denmark at the U18, U19, U20, and U21 levels.
