Arsenal defender Ben White is set to be sidelined for at least a month following a hamstring injury, according to the Sun.
The Gunners star picked up a knock in the 2-1 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta confirmed after the game that White appeared to have sustained a serious injury.
The 28-year-old underwent a scan on Sunday, and he is now expected to be sidelined for around four or five weeks.
It is a huge blow for the club, who are already without Gabriel Magalhaes and Cristhian Mosquera.
Fortunately for the Gunners, William Saliba returned to the Arsenal line-up on Saturday after missing some key games.
Myles Lewis-Skelly replaced White after his injury in the first half against Wolves and will hope to play more during the festive period.
Jurrien Timber is likely to play at right-back against Everton when Premier League action resumes for them on Saturday.
Italian left-back Riccardo Calafiori is also available again after serving a suspension due to the accumulation of five yellow cards.
Arsenal left it late to pick up all three points against Wolves, thanks to an own goal by Yerson Mosquera in the 93rd minute.
Tolu Arokodare had drawn the visitors level in the 90th minute, but Gabriel Jesus forced Mosquera into an own goal. The win was a huge one for the Gunners.
They remain top of the Premier League after 16 games, but only two points separate them from Manchester City.
Arsenal take on Crystal Palace in the quarter-final of the League Cup after the trip to Everton, before home league games against Brighton & Hove Albion and Aston Villa to wrap things up in 2025.
