Arsenal enquire about Yan Diomande after Rogers snub | OneFootball

Premier League champions Arsenal enquired about RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomande after they lost to Chelsea in the British record transfer of Morgan Rogers. Talksport reported the North London club are exploring whether a deal is possible at this stage.

Diomande is in advanced talks with PSG, while Liverpool could still push for a turnaround. The winger wants to join the Champions League winners, with RB Leipzig demanding over €100 million for the transfer.

The Bundesliga side are also open to keeping the player for one more season. Arsenal are closing on signing former Fortuna Düsseldorf winger Christos Tzolis, with more transfers expected to bolster their attacking line. Xabi Alonso’s Chelsea beat them in the race for the signing of Morgan Rogers for a British record sum of €137 million.Diomande scored 12 goals in his first season with RB Leipzig after joining them for only €20 million from CD Leganés.
