The Daily Mail, however, say Bournemouth could consider a sum of £60 million for the midfielder.

Spurs are also said to be keen on Scott, meanwhile, and Sky Sports also report that they are considering making a bid for West Ham midfielder Mateus Fernandes, who Manchester United keen on too.

The report adds that Spurs, who have completed the signing of goalkeeper Martin Dubravka, are understood to be willing to pay £85m for the 21-year-old.

Arsenal also remain in talks with Leicester City over a deal for 16-year-old winger Jeremy Monga, according to The Athletic.
