Mirror now reiterate the club’s interest in the 18-year-old, who is valued at around £5 million.

The ‘jet-heeled‘ winger has played on the left wing since arriving from ASEC Mimosas, but he can also operate on the right flank.

Arsenal are not alone in the pursuit with Manchester United, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Brighton & Hove Albion keeping tabs.

Traore looks a player with huge potential

The 18-year-old has been a revelation for the Swedish club since making his debut earlier this year.

The youngster has bagged an impressive six goals and three assists from just 19 outings this campaign.

He has also been brilliant with other key attributes aside from his goal contributions for Hammarby.

In the recent 2-0 win over Hacken, Traore won a stunning nine duels alongside five take-ons.

The teenager created two big chances in the game and played a part in one of the goals.

Arsenal are not planning a move at the moment, but Traore has the chance to persuade them.

If he can continue his bright run of form, the Gunners could contemplate a winter approach.

They are bound to face competition particularly from Brighton, who are known for signing young talents with potential from European leagues.

United have shown similar ambition lately, having signed Sekou Kone, James Overy and Samuel Lusale. Chido Obi-Martin will join them soon.

Arsenal need to be pro-active if they want to sign the Ivorian wonderkid next year.
