Arsenal have been working with throw-in coach and specialist Thomas Gronnemark, according to the Sun.

The Gunners have built a reputation for being dangerous at set-pieces under manager Mikel Arteta, and the Emirates Stadium club want to keep improving.

Arsenal have now employed the services of Gronnemark, who once worked with Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool.

The 50-year-old is helping the North Londoners to improve their long throws, and he knows his onions having once held the world record for the longest throw-in at 51.33m.

Gronnemark works on a freelance basis and has been consulting with Arsenal this season.

He has also been teaching the Gunners quick throw-ins, and while clubs like to keep their work with him secret, it has been revealed that the Dane has also worked with Celta Vigo and Japanese club JEF United Chiba this season.

Gronnemark also used to work with Danish top-flight clubs FC Midtjylland and AC Horsens and will now look to help improve Arsenal at their throw-in game.

The Gunners have already tasked Declan Rice and Riccardo Calafiori with taking their long throws, and they could soon start scoring from them regularly.

Arsenal are already a constant threat when it comes to corner-kicks, and they now want to add another weapon to their repertoire.

They are six points clear at the top of the Premier League table after 21 games and will be desperate to get better in the second half of the season.

Arsenal won 3-2 against Chelsea in the first-leg of the Carabao Cup semi-finals last night and will resume Premier League action on Saturday with a trip to City Ground to take on Nottingham Forest.

The Gunners have drawn just once in their last ten games across all competitions, winning the remaining nine, and they are expected to pick up all three points this weekend.
