Arsenal set to sign goalkeeper – latest transfer reports | OneFootball

Arsenal have agreed a deal to sign goalkeeper Illan Meslier, according to latest reports.

The Frenchman is a free agent following his departure from Leeds United and The Athletic say he is set to join the Gunners.

Meslier joining would then allow young goalkeeper Tommy Setford to go out on loan, it is added.

Meanwhile, Everton are keen on a move for Tottenham and England full-back Djed Spence, Sky Sports say.

Everton are yet to hold talks with Spurs over a deal for the 25-year-old but are said to be weighing up an approach.

Elsewhere, Brentford have completed the signing of winger Jaidon Anthony from Burnley for a fee of around £17m.

The winger has signed a four-year deal which includes the option for a further 12 months. 

Newcastle are closing in on the signing of 18-year-old Sean Steur from Ajax. The midfielder is set for a medical ahead of a £23m move to St James’ Park.

Tottenham’s Alfie Devine is having a medical with Preston ahead of a permanent transfer, also according to Sky Sports.

Radu Dragusin is also closing in on leaving Spurs, having travelled to Italy to complete an initial loan move to Fiorentina which includes an obligation to buy if he plays a certain number of games.

And Football.London say Chelsea are open to selling Alejandro Garnacho after just a year at Stamford Bridge.
