Talks over an extension have been ongoing for a while, and Arsenal want the 24-year-old to sign the deal before the end of 2025.

Some clubs attempted to lure the England international away from Arsenal, but he quickly made it clear he was never going to leave.

Saka has established himself as one of Arsenal’s most important players and is now looking to help them win their first Premier League title since 2004.

He has bagged six goals in 14 appearances across all competitions this term, having weighed in with 12 goals and 14 assists last term.

Saka has tallied 76 goals and 71 assists in 277 games for the Gunners. He has won the FA Cup, but other major silverware has eluded him.

The Gunners have never won the Champions League despite their rich history and the fact that they have boasted some of the best players to grace the game.

Saka will be desperate to end that drought, and manager Mikel Arteta has assembled a squad capable of challenging for the elite European competition this term.
