Arsenal midfielder Martin Odegaard is set to miss at least six games across all competitions for the North London club, according to the BBC.

The Gunners captain picked up a knock in the first-half against West Ham United earlier this month and is now expected to be out of action until after the November international break.

Odegaard has not played since picking up the medial collateral ligament injury, and he will now miss the Premier League games against Fulham, Crystal Palace, Burnley and Sunderland.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will also be unable to call upon his skipper for the Champions League games against Atletico Madrid and Slavia Prague.

It also remains to be seen whether Odegaard will be fit enough to play when the Gunners take on Tottenham Hotspur in the first game after the next international break on November 23.

The 26-year-old has played seven games across all competitions for Arsenal so far in 2025-26, weighing in with two assists.

He has struggled with his fitness as he has had to be withdrawn in the opening 45 minutes of his last three Premier League appearances.

It is a huge blow for the North Londoners as they could do with his creativity in midfield right now.

Fortunately, the Gunners have depth in the position, with the likes of Eberechi Eze and Ethan Nwaneri capable of providing cover in his absence.

Arsenal are already without Piero Hincapie, Noni Madueke, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus, and Arteta will hope his other key players remain fit ahead of the last international games of the year.

The Gunners strengthened their depth across all departments in the summer transfer window, but they are two or three injuries from having a weakened squad given their fitness history this term.

Arsenal are currently top of the Premier League table after seven games, but they need their best players available for the remainder of the season if they are to win the title this term.
