Gunners key man explains decision amid latest speculation over future
Kai Havertz has declared he "definitely" sees his future at Arsenal as he looks to fire the club to major silverware.
The German missed the first half of the season after undergoing knee surgery, and then suffered a slight hamstring issue in a further setback after he had returned.
Havertz is now available again and is on international duty with Germany, who face Switzerland and Ghana in friendlies.
Speaking at a press conference ahead of the Switzerland match, Havertz was asked about speculation over his future in north London.

The 26-year-old will enter the final two years of his contract at Arsenal this summer and faces competition with Viktor Gyokeres to start up front, but he has no plans to look elsewhere.
“No, to be honest, I haven’t heard anything about that, and I haven’t read anything about it either,” Havertz said. “I feel right at home at Arsenal, I feel everyone there is also very, very happy with me.”
“Sure, it wasn’t a very easy season, but I definitely see my future at Arsenal, in London.”
Havertz admitted earlier this month that the past year has been the toughest period of his career to cope with mentally due to a succession of injury problems.
He is yet to play the full 90 minutes in a match this season, but is hoping to step up his minutes over the next two matches for Germany.
"I had a tough time. It was not easy for me," Havertz said.
"I had my first injury in February last year, three and a half months out, then come back, and then a setback with the knee injury.
"I now feel completely fit. I need the one or other game from the start to reach 100%, but I feel fit to start lasting over 90 minutes."
Havertz started the Carabao Cup final against Manchester City on Sunday, when Arsenal fell to a tame 2-0 defeat at Wembley.
That ended any talk of a quadruple, but they still remain in pole position to secure their first piece of silverware since the 2020 FA Cup.
They lead the Premier League title race by nine points and are in the quarter-finals of the Champions League and the FA Cup.
Havertz is ready to play his part in that push on three points, a hectic run-in that will set him up for the World Cup this summer.
"We have many in three competitions," he said.
"I missed the first six months of the season, and I will give it all for the club, and to be able to go with a lot of confidence to the World Cup.
"I want to be successful at this World Cup and lead the way."
