Arsenal have been told which two teams are better than them in the Champions League this season.

The Gunners face Inter Milan in Italy tonight with their 100 per cent League Phase record on the line.

Arsenal are the only team to have won all six of their Champions League games so far this season, prompting them to be installed as favourites to win the competition for the first time.

But not everyone is convinced.

Manuel Akanji, formerly of Manchester City, is set to be part of the Inter defender which welcomes the Gunners to San Siro on Tuesday night, and he sees no reason to fear Mikel Arteta's men.

"They’re among the best in Europe, but not the best," he told reporters. "I don’t think they’re stronger than Atletico Madrid or Liverpool. It’ll be a good match.

"Have they improved? I don’t watch much football anymore. I have three children at home and I already have a lot of football in my work.

"They definitely have a lot of good players and they’re consistent, which is important to be competitive.

"What does it take to beat them? Against the big teams, mistakes can be punished. We have to be effective in attack and clean in possession."
