AS Roma and Torino are set to clash in Serie A this weekend, with both teams eager to build momentum. Roma, led by the newly appointed Gian Piero Gasperini, have been flawless so far, notching back-to-back 1-0 wins to open their league account.
The Giallorossi will be without recent signing Leon Bailey, as the Jamaican winger is sidelined until late September at least, as he suffered a thigh injury during his very first training session following his move from Aston Villa.
There’s also some uncertainty regarding Brazilian defender Wesley, who picked up a knock on international duty – although initial reports indicate his injury is not serious.
Meanwhile, star forward Paulo Dybala is being cautiously reintegrated by Gasperini. The Argentine has featured off the bench in both league fixtures as he works his way back from recent hamstring surgery.
AS Roma Predicted XI: Svilar; Mancini, Ndicka, Hermoso; França, Cristante, Koné, Angeliño; Soulé, Ferguson, El Shaarawy.
Sunday at 11:30am BST.
