Aston Villa agree Betano deal for shirt sleeve sponsorship | OneFootball

Aston Villa have agreed a new deal with Betano to become their shirt sleeve sponsor. Kaizen Gaming confirmed the agreement on Thursday, according to ExpressAndStar.com.

The Greek gambling company's logo has appeared on the front of Villa's shirts for the past two seasons, it will now switch to the left sleeve. Premier League rules bar betting brands from front-of-shirt deals, but allow sleeve placements.

Earlier this month Villa announced a multi-year agreement with Visit Rwanda to take over as front-of-shirt sponsor.

The Betano deal, negotiated on Villa's behalf by president of business operations Francesco Calvo, is believed to be more lucrative than the club's previous sleeve partnership with Trade Nation.

Calvo called the continuation of the partnership fantastic news, saying the parties had worked together on several initiatives and would explore further growth. He added that Villa were proud of their achievements with Kaizen as Principal Partner and were excited about future opportunities.

Kaizen chief commercial officer Julio Iglesias described the first two years with Villa as extraordinary and praised the club's heritage and global fanbase. He also highlighted Villa's community work and said the partnership felt a natural fit built on shared ambition, values and trust.
