Aston Villa ‘Not After’ Linked La Liga Star

Aston Villa are ‘not after’ a centre-back they have been linked with wanting, but Erik ten Hag is keen to take him to Germany.
Villa are facing a difficult summer transfer window as they try to strengthen while meeting the demands of the Premier League’s PSR rules.
Adding another centre-back is on the agenda at Villa Park with Axel Disasi returning to Chelsea following his loan spell.
They have been linked with rekindling their interest in Sevilla centre-back Loic Bade, who snubbed a move to the club in the winter transfer window.
However, according to Spanish journalist Maximo de la Cruz Ramirez, they are ‘not after’ Bade.
One team who do want Bade though are Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen, with new boss Ten Hag at the helm.
Ten Hag is an admirer of what the Sevilla man can bring to the table and the German side are in touch with the player’s camp.
They are seeking Bade’s green light over a move to the BayArena this summer.
Sevilla finished just one place and one point above the relegation zone in La Liga this season and conceded a whopping 55 goals in their 38 games.
A move to Leverkusen, who finished as runners-up in the Bundesliga this season may be something which appeals to Bade.
All eyes will be on whether Aston Villa do decide to get involved in the race, however they may have closed the door on the idea given that Bade .
