Atalanta ‘agreed all the details with Atletico Madrid’ for Lookman transfer

Atalanta CEO Luca Percassi confirms Ademola Lookman is on the verge of joining Atletico Madrid as the two clubs have ‘verbally agreed all the details.’
Nigeria international Lookman is on the verge of joining Atletico Madrid from Atalanta.
Repubblica and Fabrizio Romano have claimed that Atalanta will get €40m from the striker’s sale.

Atalanta CEO Luca Percassi confirmed an agreement with Atletico minutes before a Serie A game against Como on Sunday.
“We are satisfied. We verbally agreed all the details with Atletico Madrid, now we move to formalising those passages,” he said.
“It takes some time, but if everything goes the way it should, it will be completed very soon.”

Lookman scored 55 goals in 137 games with Atalanta, including a historic hat-trick in the 2024 Europa League Final, which La Dea won 3-0 against Bayer Leverkusen.
According to Repubblica, Lookman will earn €7m per season at the Wanda Metropolitano.
Lookman has not been called up for today’s match against Como.
