Corriere di Bergamo reports that Atalanta have set an asking price of around €50m for Charles De Ketelaere after his standout World Cup, with Bayern Munich, PSG and Premier League clubs interested.

The Belgian scored three goals and provided one assist in five appearances in North America as Belgium reached the quarter-finals. He was the only player to score against eventual champions Spain.

The Bergamo club had not been expected to part with the versatile attacker after arranging profitable sales for Marco Palestra to Chelsea and Ederson to Manchester United.

With Ederson’s move to Old Trafford now off, the report indicates Atalanta could consider selling another first-team regular, and De Ketelaere is viewed as likelier to depart than Marco Carnesecchi.

New coach Maurizio Sarri is also an admirer and is said to want De Ketelaere as a key piece in a four-two-three-one, operating just behind the centre forward.
