Athletic widen San Mamés Grada de Animación to ages 14-28 for 2026-27 | OneFootball

Athletic have launched the Gazte Abonoa 2026-27 campaign, widening the Grada de Animación at San Mamés to ages 14 to 28, and opening registration until 4 June. The age limit rises by two years from 26.

The club said the change is designed to coordinate support at La Catedral by grouping fans of similar ages together. In total there are 2087 places, 50 more than last season, for young non-members to back the team in LaLiga at a reduced 410.80 euros.

A separate allocation of 225 seats will be available to members aged 14 to 28 who cede their usual place to the club and opt for Gazte Abonoa.

Successful applicants via the draw will be placed in Herri Harmaila by age sectors, with the older groups located centrally to maximise resonance, something not especially evident in Bilbao last season.

It is presented as a consensual, pioneering approach that will be tested over time.
