Atletico Madrid and Arsenal go head-to-head in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals this evening.

After an all-time classic between Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich in the other semi-final on Tuesday night, viewers will be hoping for another feast of top-tier football.

The Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid is the stage for the first leg, as two former finalists look to reach the decider again. Neither team has won the Champions League, but both are now one step from competing for Europe’s biggest prize again.

Arsenal head into the game unbeaten in this season’s competition, though stuttering form domestically has cast doubt on their Premier League title hopes. A 1-0 win over Newcastle at the weekend was an important, if an unconvincing, response.

Atletico have full focus on Europe, with Diego Simeone’s side already out of Spain’s title race.
