According to Bild, SC Freiburg goalkeeper Noah Atubolu has rejected approaches from newly promoted Hull City and Coventry City, yet a move to England remains possible with Bournemouth, Aston Villa and an unnamed Premier League club still in contention.

The 24-year-old, a former Germany U21 international, is understood to prefer other English options to the promoted pair.

Following the arrival of Mio Backhaus, Atubolu is not seen as part of Freiburg’s plans and is expected to be sold one year before his contract expires.

A transfer fee of around 20 million has been mentioned.

To avoid jeopardising any move, Atubolu has reportedly asked Freiburg not to take him to their training camp in Austria.
