Auxerre without Oussama El-Azzouzi and Danny Namaso for Metz trip

Auxerre will be without Oussama El-Azzouzi and Danny Namaso for Sunday’s crucial trip to Metz at 17:15.

According to L'Équipe, El-Azzouzi has a medial collateral ligament sprain and will also miss the home match against Rennes on 22 February at 15:00, with hopes he could return perhaps next week, more likely after that game.

The Morocco international, 24, with six caps, had already sat out last Sunday’s 0-0 draw with Paris FC.

Namaso, a Cameroon international forward, 25, with 10 caps, is suspended for the Metz fixture.

Centre-backs Francisco Sierralta, adductors, and Telli Siwe, knee, remain sidelined, having not featured since 9 November and 27 September respectively. Auxerre are 16th and visit bottom club Metz on matchday 22.
