Baku back in Germany squad, Diomande receives first senior call-up

The second international break of the season is upon us, and several RB Leipzig players will once again be in action with their nations as qualifying for the 2026 World Cup in Canada, Mexico and the USA continues. Additionally, the U21s will be taking part in qualifying for the 2027 U21 EUROs in Albania and Serbia.

Ridle Baku is back in the Germany squad for the first time in four years, while Yan Diomande has received his first senior call-up for the Ivory Coast. Assan Ouedraogo, who had been called up by the Germany U20s in September, has received his first call-up to the U21s side.
