They've been building in confidence and Barcelona finally get their first big opening. Raphinha releases Robert Lewandowski, who pokes wide from inside the area.

Just like his first goal, Olise cuts in on his left and slams an unstoppable finish into the top corner. No chances of saving that!

Barcelona have come to life in the last few minutes and Lamine Yamal's cross is headered into the air by Dan Burn. Luckily, Ramsdale is underneath that one and tips over the crossbar.

GOOOAL ATLETICO

Jan Oblak makes a wonderful point-blank save and, from that, Atleti tear Spurs apart on the counter. Griezmann takes a world class touch to set Alvarez away and the striker makes no mistake wiht his finish.

Newcastle and Barcelona are still pushing for the opener on Tyneside and William Osula hits a rising shot over the crossbar.

Bayern have a fourth against Atalanta. The visitors break rapidly from an Atalanta free-kick and Nicolas Jackson drives a low finish into the bottom corner.

Bayern pick up in the second half where they left off in the first, as Pavlovic's curling effort is saved.

Atleti raced into a 3-0 lead after just 15 minutes, leading to starting Spurs goalkeeper Antonín Kinský getting hooked. Robin Le Normand added a fourth before Pedro Porro pulled a goal back.

HALF TIME: Atalanta 0-3 Bayern

Bayern have been all over Atalanta and could be further ahead. Michael Olise has been a real spark, scoring a wonderful goal and assisting Gnabry for the third.

HALF TIME: Newcastle 0-0 Barcelona

A couple of half chances at both ends, but the first half ends all square.

Bayern continue to carve open Atalanta's defence and Gnabry rattles the crossbar with a strike from 25-yards out.

All pretty even between Newcastle and Barca and William Osula goes close with an outstretched leg, but can't quite connect with Antony Elanga's cross.

Lookman gets in behind the Spurs defence and takes an early shot towards the near post. Vicario reacts well and puts that one behind.

Carnesecchi is left one on one with Nicolas Jackson and the Atalanta goalkeeper does well to save from the striker's shot.

No goals yet at St James' Park, but Lamine Yamal stings the palms of Aaron Ramsdale.

Bayern now two goals to the good in Atalanta as Michael Olise strikes. It's a trademark finish from the Frenchman, cutting in on his left and picking out the bottom corner.

Oh wow, Spurs have capitulated after just 15 minutes. Kinský tries to play a routine pass out of the area, but gifts the ball straight to Alvarez, who taps into the net. Kinský is getting subbed off here, too!

Antoine Griezmann seizes on a mix-up in the Spurs defence and the Atleti strike drills a ruthless finish past Antonín Kinský.

Tel tries his luck from 20-yards out but he'll need to do better to test the experienced Jan Oblak from there.

Bayern have dominated Atalanta early on and Josip Stanisic applies the simplest of finishes to Serge Gnabry's low cross.

Spurs' woes go from bad to worse as Antonin Kinsky gives the ball away to Atleti and the hosts take full advantage. Julian Alvarez sets up Marcos Llorente, who lashes into the bottom corner.

What a save! Liverpool are struggling to deal with Galatasaray's crosses and corners and from another one, Sanchez forces a sprawling stop from Mamardashvili.

Konate gets forward and smashes a ferocious strike just over the crossbar. A good response to going behind from the Reds.

And at the other end, Wirtz has missed another opportunity to score. He could have at least two already tonight.
