Guille Fernandez has been regarded as one of the most promising young talents coming through Barcelona’s La Masia in recent years.

After featuring with the first team in pre-season last summer, the young midfielder played regularly for Barça Atletic.

Now, the 17-year-old prodigy is once again with the senior squad on their pre-season tour of Asia and even got around 15 minutes of action against FC Seoul on Thursday.

Offers galore for Guille

Now, according to SPORT, Guille has drawn interest from several top-tier clubs, from within Spain and outside. He will take time to consider his future once Barcelona’s Asia tour concludes.

As per the report, Guille’s agent, Jorge Mendes, has received several concrete proposals in recent months – some for a potential transfer and others for a loan that would ensure regular first-team minutes.

Borussia Dortmund and FC Porto are among the clubs monitoring his situation, although no formal offer has been made at this stage.

Despite the interest, Guille and his camp have maintained a cautious and measured approach. His priority has never been to leave at all costs, but rather to carefully evaluate what path best supports his development at this stage of his career.

The teenager’s desire remains unchanged: to grow, earn minutes, and continue developing at the club where he has come through the ranks. However, he is also aware that meaningful opportunities are essential to continue progressing.

After the pre-season tour, Guille and his representatives plan to meet with Barcelona to clearly understand the club’s intentions for his immediate future. That conversation will shape the decision.

If Barça see a role for him with consistent involvement in the first team, staying will remain a valid option.

But if there is no firm commitment to his sporting growth, alternative routes, either through a loan or even a transfer, will be explored. The goal remains the same: to ensure he continues moving forward in his development.
