FC Barcelona are not wasting time in the transfer market. Having already agreed a deal for Anthony Gordon of Newcastle United, they have now turned their full focus on Julian Alvarez.
As reported earlier, the Blaugrana are already preparing an opening offer for the Atletico Madrid and Argentina striker.
Now, according to Argentine journalist Cesar Luis Merlo, Barcelona and Alvarez have already reached an agreement on personal terms.

This comes after the Catalans’ sporting director, Deco, held a direct meeting with the 26-year-old forward’s agent on Wednesday, mediated by Juanma Lopez.
Since then, Alvarez has informed Atletico Madrid of his desire to leave the club and sign for Barça, who are already working on an opening offer for the forward.
Now, it has emerged that the former Manchester City striker has already agreed personal terms with Barcelona, taking another step closer towards a move.

However, the significant obstacle in the operation continues to be the transfer fee as Atletico Madrid are standing firm on their valuation of €150 million for Alvarez.
The Rojiblancos do not intend to make things easy for Barcelona to sign one of their top players.
Barça, meanwhile, are reportedly preparing an offer worth €90 million plus bonuses, which will be significantly short of what Atleti are demanding.
As such, negotiations between the two clubs are unlikely to be easy, but Alvarez taking a step forward could help move things along.
