Barcelona board have decided the next player set for a new contract | OneFootball

The brass at La Liga giants Barcelona have already identified the next member of Hansi Flick’s squad set to be rewarded with a contract renewal.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Ferran Torres as the player in question.

The subject of renewals has of course taken its place front and centre in the media chatter in Catalunya’s capital across the week to date.

This comes after Frenkie de Jong saw the long-term speculation surrounding his future at last put to bed, by way of a new long-term contract.

And if ensuing word stemming from the Camp Nou over the days since is anything to go by, then the work of Deco and co. appears to be far from done there.

As per a report from Sport, next to see his Barcelona contract extension announced will be Eric García.

Then, focus will quickly shift towards finding an agreement with the aforementioned Ferran Torres regarding the same.
