Barcelona confirm Fits exit, ex-Benfica pivot now a free agent | OneFootball

Barcelona said in a statement that Fits has left the club, ending a contract that had been due to run until 2027. The 34-year-old Brazilian pivot is now a free agent.

Fits represented Benfica between 2018 and 2022 after signing from Kaos Futsal, spending four seasons at the Luz. He helped the Portuguese club win one Campeonato Nacional and two Taças da Liga.

After leaving Benfica, he played for Manzanares, Anderlecht and Inter Movistar before joining Barcelona in 2024. Last season he made 33 appearances for Barcelona and scored six goals.

During his time in Portugal, Spain and Belgium, he built a strong reputation in the international futsal market. That experience continues to add to his value.

With his departure confirmed, Fits can now sign for any club. His next step remains open, and attention will turn to his future destination.
