Barcelona consider Man City star as Marcus Rashford replacement | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona have earmarked a member of the attacking ranks at Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City as a potential transfer target for next season.

This comes amid the understanding that Savinho has made his way onto the radar of the Camp Nou brass.

Barcelona of course secured reinforcements in the attacking third over the summer, by way of the loan signing of Marcus Rashford from Manchester United.

Deco and co, however, remain far from sure about making the Englishman’s signing permanent.

Owing to the ongoing financial constraints in Catalunya’s capital, a shortlist of alternatives has therefore been drawn up for next season.

And according to Fichajes, underlined in red on this list is none other than Savinho:

‘The name that most appeals to FC Barcelona is Savinho. The 21-year-old winger belongs to Manchester City and fits the profile the club is looking for in terms of age, characteristics, and potential.’

Barca, initially at least, would be hopeful of taking advantage of the Brazilian’s lack of minutes in Manchester to swing a loan deal for his services.
