Barcelona dealt fresh injury blow | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona have early this week been dealt a blow on the personnel front.

This comes amid confirmation that Ferran Torres is set for an incoming spell on the treatment table.

Frontman Ferran for his part featured from the off yesterday evening, as Barcelona locked horns with Real Sociedad in a La Liga clash.

En route to a disappointing 2-1 defeat for the Blaugrana, however, the Spanish international departed the action early.

And an ensuing round of medical tests have since confirmed that Ferran has picked up an injury problem.

As per a report from Barca insider Javier Miguel, writing for Diario AS:

‘Ferran Torres will not travel with the team to Prague for Wednesday’s match against Slavia Prague. The striker finished the game against Real Sociedad with a hamstring injury.’

The former Manchester City man has also seen his status to face Real Oviedo this coming weekend thrown into serious doubt.
