Barcelona dealt Lamine Yamal scare during Celta clash | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona have on Wednesday been forced to sweat over the wellbeing of star attacker Lamine Yamal.

This comes owing to developments in the Blaugrana’s meeting with Celta Vigo.

Hansi Flick’s troops are currently locked in action on the domestic front, hopeful of reestablishing a nine-point advantage over arch rivals Real Madrid atop the La Liga table.

As things stand, this is precisely what Barcelona find themselves headed towards.

Along the way, however, the Catalans have been hit with not one, but two blows on the personnel front.

First, early in proceedings, defender João Cancelo pulled up with a knee complaint, before limping from the field of play.

And the Portuguese was soon followed in departing the action prematurely by the aforementioned Lamine Yamal.

After slotting home from the penalty spot late in the first-half, winger Lamine immediately signalled that he was dealing with an issue.

From here, the 18-year-old went to ground, before also limping straight down the tunnel.

An update on his wellbeing is expected post-match.
