Barcelona delay Karim Adeyemi announcement (again) | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona have pushed back their official announcement for the signing of Karim Adeyemi once again on Wednesday.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who have provided the latest on developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.

It has of course been common knowledge across world football for over a week now that Barcelona have tied up a deal to bring Adeyemi in for the seasons to come.

After sealing a quick-fire transfer agreement with Borussia Dortmund, the Blaugrana flew the German international out to the city of Barcelona last week.

Confirmation of his signing, in turn, was expected to arrive at some point last weekend. This, however, did not prove to be the case.

It was then suggested that the announcement in question would be forthcoming at some point today. As alluded to above, however, Barca’s supporters will be forced to wait just a little bit longer.

As per a report from Diario Sport:

‘The club will announce Karim Adeyemi as a new player from Borussia Dortmund on Thursday, July 23.’
