Barcelona fans express concern as referee for El Clásico confirmed | OneFootball

Fans of La Liga giants Barcelona have on Saturday expressed collective concern.

This comes after confirmation was forthcoming of the referee set to take charge of the Blaugrana’s upcoming showdown with arch rivals Real Madrid.

The latest edition of El Clásico has of course been pencilled in for Sunday evening, at the Spotify Camp Nou.

Avoid defeat on the day, and Hansi Flick’s Barcelona will be assured of their 2nd successive La Liga crown, with three rounds of fixtures to spare.

As alluded to above, though, one obstacle towards as much, in the eyes of many a Blaugrana supporter, comes in the form of the refereeing appointment for Sunday’s showpiece.

Alejandro Hernández Hernández has been selected as the official set to oversee proceedings in the season’s final Clásico.

And the Barca faithful appear adamant that as much will only benefit Real Madrid in their pursuit of three points tomorrow evening, still smarting over Hernández Hernández’s decisions in last season’s Clásico at Montjuïc.
