An update on the wellbeing of Spain and Barcelona star Pau Cubarsí has on Friday been forthcoming online.
This comes, for those who may have missed it, after the youngster was forced into a premature departure whilst lining out for his country on Thursday night.
Cubarsí was afforded a starting berth at the heart of Spain boss Luis de la Fuente’s backline, as La Roja locked horns with The Netherlands in the Nations League.
En route to an eventual 2-2 draw between the sides, though, the 18-year-old was hauled off prematurely.
This came owing to what appeared to be an ankle problem.
Such news marked a major concern for all of a Barcelona persuasion, heading into such a crucial part of the club’s treble-chasing campaign.
The Blaugrana faithful, however, need not fret.
As per a report from Spanish journalist Alfredo Martinez:
‘Pau Cubarsí had a good night, and his ankle has improved. He’s flying with the national team to Valencia and will likely remain at the training camp.’
