La Liga champions Barcelona have late this week been afforded a timely double boost on the personnel front.
This comes amid confirmation that both Fermín López and Frenkie de Jong are back at the disposal of manager Hansi Flick.
Midfield pair Fermín and De Jong were forced to sit out on Tuesday night, as their Barcelona teammates secured an important three points at the expense of Atlético Madrid.
As much came owing to respective injury and illness.
Both players, though, had been spotted back in training at the Ciutat Esportiva over the last 48 hours.
Speaking during his latest pre-match press conference on Friday, the status of his two engine room stars to face Real Betis was therefore put to manager Hansi Flick.
And the German tactician went on to confirm:
“Fermín is available tomorrow, but he won’t start. He might play a few minutes. “Frenkie is also back. He was suffering from flu.”
