Barcelona legend Pedro hails ‘underestimated’ member of Hansi Flick’s squad | OneFootball

Former Barcelona star Pedro Rodríguez  has this week moved to reveal his appreciation for the talents of a current member of the Blaugrana’s first-team ranks.

The player in question? Fermín López.

Midfielder Fermín is for his part of course fresh off another fine season on the books of Barcelona.

Despite acting as a backup to Dani Olmo for much of the campaign in Catalunya’s capital, the Spaniard carved out an important place for himself in Hansi Flick’s squad.

All told, in 46 appearances across all competitions, the 22-year-old racked up an impressive eight goals and 10 assists.

And safe to say, the importance of such contributions was not at all lost on the aforementioned Pedro…

Speaking during an interview with El Pais, as cited by Diario Sport, over the weekend, ex-Barca winger Pedro revealed his take that:

“Footballers who are like Fermín, who move continuously, are greatly underestimated. In addition, those who move a lot usually arrive in the box and score goals,”
