Barcelona midfielder Fermin Lopez has made his choice clear that he is staying and won’t even consider offers from other clubs.
According to SPORT, the young talent is determined to continue at his boyhood club and dreams of playing at the new Camp Nou.
His decision was strongly influenced by new manager Hansi Flick, who has shown great trust in him and sees him as an important part of his plans for next season.
Over the past few weeks, many clubs have tried to test the waters for Fermin. Teams like Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Liverpool were all keen on signing him.
Even clubs from Saudi Arabia expressed interest, hoping to lure the promising midfielder away from Spain. Despite this flood of interest, Fermin has his heart set on staying at Barcelona.
While Barcelona are happy with Fermin’s decision to stay, the club’s financial situation means they cannot completely rule out selling him if a massive offer comes in.
Barça need to sell players this summer to balance their wage bill and get back to La Liga’s 1:1 rule, which would allow them to spend what they earn or save on player salaries.

Because of this, if an irresistible offer arrives, the sporting directors might have to think twice.
Even so, Fermin’s name is not at the top of the list of players Barcelona want to sell. His progress from La Masia to the first team has been remarkable, and he has already proven his quality on the pitch.
While selling him would bring in a good fee because of his talent and potential, Barça know it would be a big blow to their project.
For Fermin, leaving now is not an option. It took him years of hard work to break into the first team, and he wants to make the most of this opportunity.
His loyalty and determination are exactly what Barcelona need during these challenging times, and his commitment to the club has given fans even more reason to believe in a bright future under Hansi Flick.
