Over the weekend, FC Barcelona clinched the Spanish Super Cup with a resounding 5-2 victory over Real Madrid in Jeddah, marking Hansi Flick’s first title as the head coach of the Catalan giants.
The victory, coming against bitter rivals Real Madrid, was celebrated intensely throughout the past couple of days.
As reported by Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona’s celebrations weren’t just limited to dressing room, as the players also celebrated in style on the plane, while returning to Catalonia.
Initially, the plan was for the team to spend the night in Jeddah, but following a discussion between the captains and Flick, it was decided that the squad would return to Barcelona immediately after the match.
Sure enough, the Barça plane turned into a vibrant party scene as players, staff, and even President Joan Laporta let loose.

The atmosphere was electric with the entire team singing and dancing to ‘La Conga’, while the Barça anthem played at full blast.
Laporta danced alongside the players, cooling off what has been an intense few weeks for the Barcelona president.
Moreover, the chant “Boti, boti, boti, madridista qui no boti”, meaning ‘You’re a Madridista if you don’t jump’ echoed through the cabin.
This celebration was well-earned after a grueling week in Saudi Arabia, which took a toll on the players.
Flick, though, must now make sure complacency doesn’t creep into the Barcelona camp, knowing the team has a tough assignment against Real Betis on Wednesday.
Thankfully for Barça, they have received a major boost heading into this encounter, as Betis’ star player Giovani Lo Celso has been ruled out with an injury.
