A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona is all set for a summer move to Portugal.
That’s according to Blaugrana insider Gerard Romero, citing Diario Sport, who point to Alan Godoy as the player in question.
Frontman Godoy for his part only made the move to Catalunya’s capital this past January, after Barcelona beat out stiff competition to bring the 22-year-old in from Eldense.
Just six months on, though, the attacker is set to be on the move once more.
Barca Atlètic’s shock relegation to the 4th tier of Spanish football has seen the futures of a whole host of up-and-coming talents called into question.
And Godoy is no exception…
Considered ready for senior football, the Spaniard has been linked with a number of clubs over the last couple of weeks.
And as alluded to above, on Tuesday, one such suitor appear to have wrapped up a deal for Godoy.
As per a report from the aforementioned Gerard Romero:
‘As reported by Sport, Alan Godoy to Portugal! The Blaugrana club has finalized a season-long loan with a purchase option to Estrela da Amadora of the Portuguese First Division. The player has already undergone a medical examination and is awaiting his contract signing.’
