Ever since Hansi Flick has taken over charge at Barcelona, the team has seldom had the chance to sit back and relax, even after a well-deserved win.

This is a far cry from the Xavi Hernandez era, where Barcelona often used to take a break after a good performance.

However, following a brilliant 4-0 win over arch-rivals Real Madrid, it appears even Flick has given Barcelona players the go-ahead to enjoy and celebrate.

Euphoria in the Barcelona squad

As reported by Jijantes, this is turning out to be a happy week in Barcelona. After beating Bayern Munich and Real Madrid in a clear and convincing manner, Flick has given the squad two days off.

The report adds that there is a feeling of joy and euphoria gleaming inside the Barcelona dressing room, not only among the first-team players but everyone who is a part of the squad.

This is a testament to Flick’s coaching and man-management methods that have seemingly brought in a revolution at Barcelona.

Lunch at behest of Ronald Araujo

It is worth noting that the players requested a third day off, which was not granted. To make up for it, the players will have a conjuring meal after training.

The level of happiness and euphoria that reigns in the squad is such that the players have chosen midday on Wednesday to celebrate a lunch outside Ciutat Esportiva.

The lunch will be hosted by Ronald Araujo, who remains a crucial member of the dressing room despite being injured for quite a while now.

The Uruguayan, though, may soon return to full fitness, with Barcelona hopeful of seeing him back in full fitness by the start of next year.
