Barcelona star Fermín López has been accused of directing a less-than-subtle jibe at under-fire Blaugrana teammate Marc-André ter Stegen.

This, of course, comes amid mounting tension between goalkeeper Ter Stegen and the Camp Nou brass.

After Joan Laporta and co. this week requested for their long-time no.1 to sign a medical report drawn up by the club following his recent back surgery, Ter Stegen point blank refused to provide as much.

This stance means that Barcelona are unable to make use of the 33-year-old’s freed wages to register one of the club’s summer signings.

The already frayed relationship between the parties, in turn, has taken another turn for the worse.

And as alluded to above, over the last 24 hours, a fellow member of Hansi Flick’s squad has been widely accused of aiming a cryptic dig at Ter Stegen.

In a post on his official Instagram account, midfield starlet Fermín López wrote:

“Bad people never win, nor do those who look the other way, nor those who make betrayal their way of life and cowardice their banner. It’s only a matter of time. They lose every day because the makeup they use to cover themselves each morning, sooner or later, fades away, and they end up showing the world who they really are.”

Adding further fuel to the fire is the fact that Fermín has since deleted the post in question.
