Barcelona star Pau Cubarsí was critical of Hansi Flick’s squad in the aftermath of the club’s heavy defeat on Sunday.

Barcelona are of course fresh off something of an outing to forget.

Fresh off a midweek loss at the hands of PSG, the Blaugrana turned focus back towards matters in La Liga, in a meeting with Sevilla.

When all was said and done in Andalusia, however, the evening’s visitors found themselves condemned to a 2nd defeat on the bounce.

Not only that, but Barca looked an absolute shell of themselves en route to as much, struggling at both ends en route to a 4-1 result.

Speaking to the media in the game’s aftermath, the subject of his side’s defensive shortcomings on the day was in turn put to the aforementioned Pau Cubarsí.

And the Spanish international was not shy in calling out Hansi Flick’s squad as a collective in his response, explaining:

“These chances actually start from the midfield line and front line. I think we need to return to pressing as we did last season… That shouldn’t happen.”
