With the Ballon d’Or coming down between these two players, Real Madrid standout Kylian Mbappé stated that he wants to see his former teammate win the honor, which is the right call considering it would be odd for him to say that a Barcelona player should win it.

“Ousmane Dembélé deserves the Ballon d’Or,” Mbappé told Téléfoot. “I have always supported him and if it was up to me, I would like to present it to him.”

Not every player shares the same sentiment, some will say Yamal or even a different player should win the Ballon d’Or. Nonetheless, it will be interesting to see who wins the award, if it’s Dembélé it will cap off an amazing 2025 that the Frenchman has had.
