A member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona has a lucrative proposal on the table from the Saudi Pro League ahead of the summer.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who highlight Marc Casadó as the player in question.

Youngster Casadó is for his part in the midst of something of a difficult campaign in Catalunya’s capital to date.

After exploding onto the scene under the watch of Hansi Flick last season, the 22-year-old has found himself pushed down the German’s engine room pecking order this time round.

The return to fitness of teammate Marc Bernal has only seen Casadó’s prospects further damaged, with the Spanish international having now been afforded just nine league starts across the length of the term.

With such struggles comes inevitable chatter surrounding Casadó’s future, amid the understanding that a whole host of clubs are keeping a close eye on his situation at the Camp Nou.

And as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the Spanish media is anything to go by, then one such suitor appear eager to get a leg up on the competition.

As per a report from MD:

‘The midfielder has a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia for next summer.’

It is also noted that, whilst Casadó remains fully focused on matters in Barcelona at present, ‘the player will evaluate all offers once the season ends and will then decide what to do about his future’.
