Despite still being only 18 years of age, the FC Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has already proven himself to be one of the most promising and exciting names in European football in the last two years. The clearest manifestation of this was his second place in the last Ballon d’Or award rankings.
This achievement highlighted the high level of his overall performance, but now, one of his most memorable moments from the last season can also receive official recognition.
As Mundo Deportivo has reported, his goal against Espanyol in the last derby at RCDE Stadium has been nominated as one of the eleven contenders for this year’s Puskás Award.
