Barcelona star Robert Lewandowski is prepared to lower his wages, potentially significantly, to secure a new contract with the club.

This comes amid confirmation that the Pole only has eyes for the Blaugrana.

Lewandowski as things stand is of course primed to bring a close to his Barcelona chapter in the summer of 2026.

As much comes with the former Bayern Munich man’s terms due to come to a close.

Despite his advancing years, Lewandowski continues to play a prominent role in Hansi Flick’s squad, amid an ongoing battle with Ferran Torres for first-choice centre-forward duties.

And if the latest word stemming from the media on Friday is anything to go by, then the veteran frontman appears to be keen to continue this battle into next season, too.
