Barcelona star tipped for first-ever start vs FC Seoul | OneFootball

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick is giving serious consideration to affording a starting berth to an up-and-coming member of the club’s defensive ranks later today.

This of course comes as Barcelona prepare for the 2nd outing of the club’s pre-season tour of Asia.

After opening with a 3-1 downing of Japanese outfit Vissel Kobe, the Blaugrana have made the trip to South Korea, for a friendly clash with FC Seoul.

Hansi Flick is expected to rotate his XI for the fixture, with some of those to have missed out against Vissel in line for minutes this time round.

One player tipped for as much, meanwhile, is Jofre Torrents.

Youngster Torrents was introduced off the bench for his senior debut at the weekend, slotting in at left-back.

And the 18-year-old evidently did enough to impress boss Hansi Flick and his staff.

This comes amid confirmation on the part of Diario Sport that Torrents is being prepped for his first-ever start on the senior stage in Seoul.
