Barcelona target ‘to sign’ with agent behind Joan Garcia and Dani Olmo deals | OneFootball

Barcelona aim to add a left winger this summer and are evaluating alternatives to Marcus Rashford. They have a €30m buy option with Manchester United, but some believe another player could offer better value given Rashford's wages.

According to RadioMarca, Victor Munoz is 99.9% likely to sign with Juanma Lopez of Niagara Sports, the agent who helped broker the Joan Garcia and Dani Olmo deals in the past two years.

The same report says Real Madrid retain a buyback and a 50% sell-on on Munoz, making a Barcelona move difficult. Madrid would likely step in if Barcelona opened talks with Osasuna.

Barcelona might have to activate his €40m release clause, which may be unlikely given their stance over a similar outlay on Rashford.

Munoz also has admirers in Serie A and the Premier League. Sunderland saw a €25m bid rejected by Osasuna in January, and Madrid could look to re-sign him a year on at a reduced price.

Elsewhere, Barcelona have been linked with former La Masia products Ez Abde and Jan Virgili, while Benfica winger Andreas Schjelderup has also been mentioned.
