The powers that be at Barcelona are ready to boycott any and all potential deals with La Liga rivals Sevilla this month.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who have on Sunday provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.
Tensions have long been on the rise between the respective boards at the Camp Nou and The Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán.
As much was kicked into gear upon Sevilla last year taking a stand against Barca amid the ongoing ‘Negreira Case’ against the Blaugrana.
Sevilla, over the last couple of weeks, then took things a step further.
Amid Barcelona’s efforts to register summer signing Dani Olmo for the remainder of the campaign, the Nervionenses have been one of the leading voices in the push back against Joan Laporta and co.
And such actions look set to have consequences…
Sevilla, it is understood, are keen to bring Ansu Fati in on loan until the summer.
As per the aforementioned Sport, however:
‘Barça will veto any movement with the Sevilla team as relations, now, are absolutely broken by the pressures that have been made from Seville to LaLiga in the Dani Olmo case.’
