The future of Robert Lewandowski at Barcelona has become a major topic of discussion. The veteran striker’s contract expires in June, and everything suggests that he will likely leave unless his performances are spectacular between now and the end of the season.
The Polish forward’s priority is to remain at Barça for one more year, and he is willing to accept a reduced salary and secondary role as well.
But, at the same time, the 36-year-old striker is aware of the reality of the situation and has begun to listen to offers.
As it so happens, Lewandowski has emerged as a coveted target in Major League Soccer in the United States of America.
After links to Inter Miami, a few days ago, interest from Chicago Fire came to light, and now an offer from Orlando City has also emerged, as they too want him in their squad.
Indeed, according to the Polish outlet Kanal Sportowy (h/t SPORT), Lewandowski’s representatives have already received a call from Orlando City to explore his possible arrival from 30 June.

The MLS club would be ready to make the Barcelona veteran their franchise player and they would be willing to pay him a very high salary.
For now, Lewandowski is not closing the door on any option, although he has already stated that he will wait for Barcelona until the end and therefore will not decide his future until the end of the season.
Lewandowski has also attracted interest from AC Milan, who met with his agent to try to convince him about the Milan project.
The Italian giants were prepared to offer him a two-year contract, aiming to replicate a similar operation to the one carried out with Luka Modric last summer.
For the time being, the Polish striker has not given any response, but he is keeping different paths open.
Barcelona, for their part, have already made it clear to the player that they will not make any decision until they see how the season ends, although at this moment the club are leaning towards reshaping their forward line for next season.
